                              resources of the Township to promote and improve the quality of life for all residents in

                              accordance with the Township vision statement and applicable plans and ordinances

The purpose of the Building Code is to provide minimum requirements to safeguard the public safety, health and general welfare through affordability, structural strength, means of egress, stability, sanitation, light and ventilation, energy conservation and the safety of life and property from fire and other hazards.

The East Goshen Zoning Ordinance is intended promote and protect the public health and safety, prevent overcrowding of land, blights and congestion, provide for various types of residential dwellings, to further the goals and objectives set forth in the Township Comprehensive Plan and to encourage the appropriate reuse of historic structures.
