Historical Commission Needs Volunteer Help for Projects!

Are you a history buff? Do you enjoy doing research, working with school-age children, gardening, or recording oral history? Are you interested in writing, publicity or promotion, grantsmanship or photography? Would you like to be a Plank House guide? Do you have other talents to share? Then the Historical Commission can use your talents if you have a little time to give to the Township. In order to plan and conduct all the special events and projects, the Historical Commission needs to involve many more East Goshen residents in its activities. Volunteers are needed for all kinds of projects and as well as “day of the event” volunteers.

Forms are also available at the Township Building weekdays or at the Plank House on weekends. Fill out the information and either mail or fax it to the Township. A member of the Historical Commission will contact you. A short orientation and training will be provided for all activities.
